About the Recipe

Open seeded sourdough sandwich with cottage cheese and petit poit peas sprinkled with chilli flakes.

Ingredients

  • 140g cottage cheese

  • 1/2 cup frozen Petit Pois peas

  • 2 slices seeded sourdough bread

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Chilli flakes (optional)

Preparation

Step 1


Heat a saucepan with water. When it starts boiling, switch off the heat and add Petit Pois peas. Cover it and keep it aside for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes, drain the water and keep the peas aside.



Step 2


Toast the seeded sourdough bread and cool for 1 min.



Step 3


Spread the cottage cheese over the toasted bread, add the peas and sprinkle with salt, pepper and chilli flakes if you like, and eat straight away.
